The legal drinking age in Australia is 18.
Banks are open 9:30am until 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 9:30am until 5:00pm, Friday. Some Banks, Building Societies, and Credit Unions are also open on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings.
